Project description:
As part of the project, a city strategy document was created. The activities were based on participatory solutions, treated as the basic tool for building a strategy through dialogue with residents, who are assigned the role of co-authors and not addressees of the city's strategy.
The methods included: future game city, public hearings, mobile consultation points in districts, workshops of the future, consultation cafes, internet consultations, citizens' assembly and others.
On the basis of aggregated knowledge, the Municipal Academy of Participatory Management also was created – an educational programme with teaching materials and presentations, the purpose of which is to disseminate knowledge about participatory methods and techniques used in the practice of city management.
